Anxiety can often feel like it is taking over your life.

Perhaps, your anxiety just started. A big life shift just happened and now you feel like you can never rest. You are constantly on edge, frustrated, worried and tired.

Or perhaps, you have never known yourself without anxiety. As a child, you performed well. You knew exactly what to do to make your parents and teachers happy, but your stomach constantly felt queezy and deep down you felt like everything could fall apart at any moment.

You may be all too familiar with the “what if….” question. You might even be really good at asking that question and thinking through every possible worst case scenario. But at some point you realize you are constantly thinking about worst case scenarios and you are worn out.

Whether you have had anxiety your whole life or it is a recent addition, you may have found yourself here because you don’t want to have to manage your anxiety on your own anymore.

Whatever has specifically brought you, I am so glad you are here. Read on to learn more about my approach to anxiety therapy.

Anxiety Therapy

My Approach to Therapy for Anxiety

My goal is to meet you where you are at and start with your most pressing concerns.

For example, if you recently had a panic attack and you are worried you are going to have another one, we will start there. We will create a plan together to help you feel more equipped to respond to your own panic/anxiety.

After we address your most pressing concerns, we look a little deeper. When did the anxiety start? How do you feel about having anxiety? How have people around you responded to you when you have been anxious.

My goal is not only to equip you with tools to be able to respond to your anxiety, but also to help you to have a deeper understanding of your anxiety and how it impacts you.
